33 小時的極限過境巴士。為了省下約新台幣 8,000 元的直飛機票，她選擇搭乘僅需 2,600 元的巴士，從巴拉圭首都亞松森前往玻利維亞的蘇克雷。這段旅程對她而言極其艱苦，因為她在智利旅行時不慎被強風吹翻導致左膝受傷，在狹窄的座位上幾乎無法移動。更慘的是，她的座位被安排在臭氣熏天的廁所門口第一排，必須忍受長達一天的異味與開門聲，還要看著前座大叔翹得老高的腳丫。在聖克魯斯轉車時，她甚至因為找不到行李掛號處，差點被巴士丟包，最後是對著櫃檯狂喊「請快一點」才驚險在開車前三分鐘上到第二班車。不過，旅途中坐在隔壁的玻利維亞大叔請她吃當地起司麵包 Cuñapé，並告訴她「真正的拉美要往北走」，這份人情味為漫長的車程增添了一絲暖意
